No in game chat in any games

I have no on game chat in any of my multiplayer games. I can chat in party chat just fine but when I go into PvZ or Titanfall no one can hear me. Iv updated both controllers did everything with trouble shooting. Even my friend has the same issue as me.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is this a game server issue or an xbox issue? I am on a Xbox One and so is my friend.

No Game Chat

Here's my setup - Astro Mixamp (2011 version), Audio Technica AD700 headphones, ModMic, Stereo Headset Adapter.

For some reason I can't get game chat. I can clearly see the mic icons of other people light up when they talk, but I can't hear them. They can't hear me. I don't have a mic icon by my gamer tag. Party chat works fine though.

My NAT is always open, both in the Xbox One's settings and in the game menu.

I've fiddled with all the buttons on the headset adapter to get game chat to work without success.

I've had this problem on two Xbox One's so I don't think it's the console itself.

Controller is updated.

What's going on?

Are people able to hear you in party chat ? (While not playing any games)

Are people able to hear you in game chat? (No, which games?)

 

I've got the same issue. Been about a week since I've had anyone in game chat. No troubleshooting seems to work.

 

Ya I cant seem to get any chat in any game working. Its frustrating

 

Hey please comment with the chat device, headset that you're using and let us know if you also have an xbox stereo adapter.

 

I use the headset that came with the xbox one

 

My friends also use the same headset that I do.

 

So i spoke to MS and this is what got my headset working

Kinect Settings> check if the Use Kinect Microphone for Chat is , checked.

please do this on the console 3 times in a row. Settings > Blu-ray & Disc > Clear Persistent Storage.

Please restart the console by going to Settings and then Network > Advanced Settings> Alternate Mac Address>
