    No In-Game Audio


    Ever since the new Xbox Experience dashboard, I have lost nearly all in game audio. No audio from NPCs, environment, music, sound effects. Everything is gone and not working save one source -- in game chat. I can still hear people converse in markets
    within my proximity, but otherwise have lost the rest of the audio.

    I have tried adjusting the in-game settings for audio, resetting to defaults, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, as well as completely deleting my save data from all devices (which luckily only removes the settings and no actual character loss.)

    I have also started a new character to see if perhaps my character itself is bugged, and this bug is still present.

    Oddly, however, the audio does return uselessly when I hit my guide button to return to the home dashboard, where the game is minimized and unplayable, and I can also get the full in game audio to turn when I double-tap the guide button to bring up quick
    commands like friends, messages, etc. Once I'm back in game, however that audio disappears once again.

    In short, I have tried my hardest to diagnose and self repair and I'm curious is anyone here, at Bethesda or Microsoft have any additional solutions which might make this game playable since playing on mute for 300 hours sounds like no fun to me.

    anyone know why I have no game audio through my tv or headset? YouTube and other media apps work fine.

    I have the x12s i get game audio just fine and i can hear chat but chat is very low, also my game audio plays through the audio, so I have game audio then have chat with the echo of game audio, so i have 2 game audio sounds with a faint chat audio. anyone

    I know what your talking about, but that option is comparing chat audio to game audio, not headset to tv. To clarify, the chat audio is fine and never lags; its the game audio

    xbox one stereo compressed or bitstream out help

    Shouldn't have any effect on the audio coming from the chat adapter. The available audio settings should only effect the HDMI audio and optical out audio.

    In game audio options will effect the audio quality of headsets or headphone using the chat adapter as the audio source though.

    Are you referring to the in-game audio, or added music audio?
