    No headsets work


    Hi! I recently had the default mic and it just stop working. so today I went out and bought a $100 kraken mic but it DOESNT WORK!

    -I tried rebooting

    -I tried unplugging

    -I can hear others and sound but I can't talk

    please help

    No headsets work

    hello, i am having an extreme difficult time with the mics since this new update. none have been working for me. most of the time I can hear others and they can't hear me, but sometimes its the other way around so that they can hear me and I can't hear them.
    I tried three different controllers with two different mics. I even went out and bought a $80 turtle beach set and that doesnt work. my friend bought a BRAND NEW Xbox one yesterday from GameStop and is having the exact same issue. i have done absolut anything
    that has been a suggested solution so far, I can't state all of them as there were so many. please fix this problem it ruins pretty much the entire purpose of playing for me!!

    Headsets No Longer work

    Been searching for many days as of late and have come up empty on a solution to a problem I have recently come across with my Xbox one. All of a sudden one day after turning on my X1 my headsets no longer register sound or are able to talk into. I have used
    multiple headsets and controllers. I then tried to plug in my kinect and to my surprise it does in fact work my friends are able to hear me and vice versa. Is there a fix for the problem I am having or do I need to purchase a new xbox one since my warranty
    is up :/

    No chat mixer settings

    It will only show up if you have a headset that is plugged in with a headset adapter. Means it works with turtle beach headsets and others like that. It won't work with the headset that comes with the xbox. If you buy a chatpad you get a other headset with
    itthat one works too. Other then that the headset options don't show up with the standard headset. Hope that helps.

    Will need some more info, what is the make and model of the headset

    Has this worked the past.

    Does the headset portion work correctly, in other words do you just have an issue with the mic.

    Can you try another controller, or better yet try using the headset on a friends xbox or take it to gamestop

    If the headset works on another controller then it may be an issue with the controller or console, if this headset does not work with another controller, then it may be an issue with the headset.

    Not all headsets are supported with the xbox

    Tried 2 different headsets one is an MS authorized chat headset. The first headset was working till about 3 weeks ago, it works fine on other devices. Definitely not a headset issue

    They are all headsets for x box one and all the headsets have worked at some point. What i mean is the headset will work once then not work again and so on

    BOught a stereo headset as well as a new controller. wouldn't you know- the old headset works fine with the new controller and the new headset doesn't work with old controller.

    Problem- DEAD controller headset port.
