No HDMI Out Signal on Xbox One

Hello,

I have been using my new Xbox for over a month with no change to any settings since I set it up. I played on it last night with no issues and turned it off. I tried to turn it on today and I got no video signal, but I got audio through the optical cable.
I tried multiple things to isolate the issue, but to sum up the most telling tests I used two different HDMI cables and two different hidef TVs with the same results, no video signal. In using the different tvs I had to physically unplug the Xbox One and move
it to a different room so I have also forced a complete power off and power on.

Through this process of elimination I have narrowed the problem to the HDMI Out not sending a signal, but I am now at a loss as to what to do about it. Any help would be appreciated.

xbox 1 no signal but the cable is in the right port

just turned on my xbox 1 but the tv says that there is no signal, but the hdmi cable is in hte right "out port" tested the other hdmi cables and testedthe other hdmi slot on the tv but still no signal.

Anyone got a fix or should i send it in for a repair?

No I mean I need to split the HDMI out from the xbox, so I send one signal to the theater system and one to the projector

 

P.S. I tried multiple inputs and I verified that I was on the proper input on the TVs based on the physical label I plugged the Xbox into. The issue is not an incorrect input. Additionally, I am well aware there is an HDMI Input and HDMI Output on the back
and I was most certainly plugged into the Output. Which is obvious, because it worked yesterday and then not today, but I realize tech support must rule out the obvious first and I just want to reassure any support that I am aware of these potential problems
and checked them.

 

Reset your display settings.

If there’s a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.

On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.

Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console.

Note This will boot your console in a low resolution mode (640 × 480). If you can see things...reset these settings again, press the Menu button, select Settings, and then select Display & sound.

Thanks for the tip. I saw something similar for XBox360, but didn't know the steps. I am on vacation so it will be a week before I get a chance to try this.

 

Yes I had same problem and apparently a lot of people have since this new update. I am sick of this type of stuff happening I didn't pay £100's of my hard earned income for your systems to fail and keep me off my xbox for days, controllers not syncing up
properly because of Microsoft releasing a console that clearly was not ready or completed

 

It sucks that all this is happening. But it's not a wide spread problem. I've not once had an issue. Works perfectly in all aspects. So its not the product per say that is bad. Its just localized problems that happen with any launch. Things will go wrong
