No getting invites

Just check your privacy settings. There is a wide assortment of things you might not have even looked at. I choose custom to tailor to my needs. I advise you not to use any of the defaults CUSTOMIZE it completely you will thank me when you are done. There
is so much in there i dont want to have access and vice versa. communication and multiplayer option sharing , and game content. Just get in there and start adjusting things properly.

try, log in, even note that if your account has any parental control restrictions that may be the reason, if you don't apply try to reinstall your console profile (you won't have to delete games or apps, it's a quick process and the file its profile will
not be greater than 100MB)

I had the same problem. It was an known issue in the preview program. It was fixed after 2 updates for me.

I suggest you see the status of the Xbox service.
If it is not a problem of the service try to make a power cycle in your console
