No 'get' button to install Minecraft: Java

• Let the Mojang team know of your issue as they are working to resolve anything that has happened from this recent update.

Hello, I also have the same problem also note that I bought the Java edition 3 years ago then I got gamepass ultimate. Due to the migration the Xbox App assumes that I own Minecraft Windows 10 Edition but not the Java Edition (My gamepass subscription expired). So in short I lost my Java Edition and I can't get it through having Windows 10 Edition.

Yes you have the Java Edition. Players who have purchased Minecraft: Java Edition before October 19th, 2018 can get Minecraft for Windows 10 for free by visiting their Mojang account.
Log into account.mojang.com, and under the “My Games” heading you will find a button to claim your gift code. If you purchased Minecraft: Java Edition
after October 19th, 2018, the button will not be there, so if you’re unsure of when you purchased Minecraft: Java Edition, that’s a good way to check. Pressing the button will generate a token and send you to a Microsoft redemption page.

I'm using freshly installed Windows 10, I reset the store and restarted, but this didn't change anything. Then I installed the Minecraft launcher, I logged in with my Microsoft account and it provided me the options for three versions with following buttons:

Minecraft Java Edition / Play demo

Minecraft For Windows / Install

Minecraft Dungeons / Buy Now

When I installed the Windows version the "Install" button turned to "Play", but when I launch the game it asks me to "Sign in" and then to "Unlock Full Game" by buying Starter or Master Collection.
