Are you Instant On? If so, you can either live with doing a hard reset when it happens or switch to power save mode.

A fix would appear to be happening soon, I'm in the preview program and I was being plagued by the same issue, it's been happening to me since November, having to hard reset at least once a day, sometimes more, since the latest preview build, I've gone 8
days without the need to do it.

So assuming the fix will be part of the April update? Only been on the preview program two weeks, so not entirely sure how it works, but it seems to be fixed for me at the moment, fingers crossed.

Hi,

EA games have to be launched directly via the EA in order to play them. If you launch them on the Xbox App, the EA app will need to run as well to launch the game. This is standard practice with PC launchers.

For example I own Mass Effect purchased via Steam. But, even if I launch it with Steam, it still loads the EA app. In which case I just launch it from the EA app instead.

Please, install the Xbox PC app and launch the cloud games from there:

https://www.xbox.com/apps/xbox-app-for-pc

Select the Cloud Gaming tab and launch a game.
