No games on my x box one will work

I tried to play titanfall today (disc), and it wouldn't load all the way. What it does is, after initially loading after 10 seconds or so it goes back to my dashboard. It does this no matter how many times I try to play the game. So, I checked my other
games(Ryse and Dead Rising 3) (Digital). And, they too wouldn't load. I then tried all of other apps (Netflix, Hulu, youtube etc...), and they all work perfectly. I then tried 3 DVDs and 2 Blu-rays, and they worked just fine. I tried turning it off and
letting it sir for varying amounts of time, and the problem persists. I also tried completely disconnecting the power cord, so my X box one could sit completely disconnected to power, and still no games will work.

I can verify that x-box one games will transfer from web to the x box one. The free game of the month will only work on the 360 there is no backwards compatibility feature on the x box one as of yet.

No, I was on my X Box One and so was my buddy I was trying to game with.

 

Hi, this sounds like a cache problem. To clear the memory and cache, do a complete power cycle. Please hold your power button down for 5+ seconds until the XB1 shuts off. Then leave it off for 30 seconds, and turn it back on by pressing the button again.
This should help your issue.

Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

 

What CATigerman suggested should do the trick. The Xbox One OS is no different than any other OS in that you sometimes see occasional freak, unexplainable flukes that are corrected by a complete power cycle.

 

everytime i change game i have to do this power cycle error xo21its a deadset joke was fine before 1404 update now its terrible needs to be fixed back how it was working

 

the powercycle issue has not fixed my forza 5 crashing issue. I am unable to play it at all. It crashes right before the race starts.

 

I agree with Sgt Sadler..

Since the last update my X1 has problems reading disc unless I reboot. More the reason to disable the Power Mode Instant On feature.

 

I also had this issue with needing to completely reboot the system (reboot, not reset) to get the Xbox to recognize a disc. I noticed that mine started ocurring only when I would try switching games, so that led me to believe there was something wrong with
the programming of the "Quickly Resume Games" option (Xbox Settings ->Power On/Startup). I disabled this feature and haven't had the problem since. You may also want to give that a try and see if that helps prevent the issue from reocurring.
