No games are working after update.

I've tried multiple games and none of them will work, There is just a blank disk icon and i can click it endlessly without anything happening. I've tried hard resetting it and taking the disk out and turning it off then on then putting it in and nothing
works.

I record a clip after the xbox one update but there no in game sound on it, it was working fine but the update

i am having the same problem. After the updates in the Windows Store; Taptiles was working this morning and then there was an update in Windows Store - I updated and now Taptiles is not working either. There are no error messages, the screen shows Taptiles
-- and it doesn't load. This all happened after the updates were posted. These are free games and I like doing the daily challenges -- now these apps do not open. Please fix this. Thank you.

Wish I had an answer, I don't have the same problem, but my console is a joke sense the update as well. Money well spent.....

 

May have to do a factory restore , a pain , I know...

 

I wish they'd test their updates before releasing them.

 

They do test them. Many on these forums are involved in testing them. Unfortunately, there is no way they can test every possible combination of hardware/software that people will be using .

 

Well do they plan on releasing an update to fix this? or are they just gonna be lazy and not patch it because its not happening to everyone?

 

Hi, I'm new here. I too have experienced a similar problem since having to complete an 'offline upgrade' last week when the console failed during a scheduled update. Since then I am unable to play any disk games, the digital ones work fine, but when I
click on a game it just hangs. I spent a considerable amount of time last night with Microsoft support who admitted the problem is related to the recent update. However, they indicated the issue would be resolved within 24/48hrs (please don't hold your breath!!!).
Unfortunately the person I was dealing with wasn't of much help, responding with their usual scripted responses about how sorry they are, etc, etc. If you haven't done so already, might be worth raising a ticket with support. Good luck.
