No gamer pic

Didnt really have any issues with Live the past few days but this is more of a login concern. I no longer see my gamer pic in the top left corner of the screen for either profile or when I log in. I have changed the pic and the avatar pic but no change and
my Kinect is running like it is in slow motion. When I go to the "what the Kinect sees" screen, it lags like crazy. Tried resetting, hard rebooting (with and without Kinect plugged in), recalibration doesnt even work... anyone else having these issues. I have
to check my second xbox to see if the issue persists on that one too.

New profile page just *** my gamer pic

On the NXOE, I clicked in the new profile page to show my avatar. I did not change my gamer pic, nor did I click to change my gamer pic, nor was there any warning to say my gamer pic was being changed. I just said it could show my avatar on my profile
page. NOW, my old xbox 360 gamer pic is no longer showing up, and when I click not to show my avatar in my profile it makes me pic a new gamer pic from the crappy xbox one ones. I am LIVID. I had a pretty rare Noble Team gamer pic that few people use (I've
never seen on anyone else) and now my frigging gamer pic on my xbox one is my avatar's face. I DIDN"T CHANGE MY GAMERPIC FOR A REASON. There's no warning, no comment about "This will change your gamer pic" or "This will permanently change your gamer pic,"
it's just a side button that says "show avatar on your profile."

I would like my gamer pic fixed, and put some *** warnings on something that's going to permanently alter your profile and something you've had for YEARS.

 

Halo 4 Quiz

Thanks for the heads up, Cooper. What's the gamer pic of? Did you try taking the quiz more than once to see if you could get more than one gamer pic? How many questions were on the quiz?

 

Well my other Xbox One was fine with the pic and kinect... I had to reset my Xbox to factory and everything seems to be working now. These consoles are more and more like computers with having to restore every now and again I guess.... Thankfully I had all
my games and apps on a 3TB external...

 

The avatar not showing was happening to me when my friends came online over the last couple of days, seems to have resolved itself now after Microsoft brought everything back online after the Xbox Live issues.

Doesn't explain the Kinect running slow but when the accounts are running slow due to Xbox Live issues, don't worry too much about the avatars not showing up, they'll recover once the service is up and running again.
