No Game or TV Sounds Through Controllers

Discus and support No Game or TV Sounds Through Controllers in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm not getting any game or TV sounds through any of my controllers.     No Game or TV Sounds Through Controllers


    I'm not getting any game or TV sounds through any of my controllers. I can Skype but other than that, no sounds.

    It was working fine until the sound stopped. I have made no configuration changes. The headset works on other devices, I can Skype, but TV and game sounds are not coming through.

    Steps I've taken:

    1) Reboot console

    2) Update controllers

    3) Try two other controllers

    4) Mute/Unmute controllers

    5) Adjust volume

    6) Power off console

    Why do Mics/Party still not work?

    Randomly:

    No sound through mic or TV, sound through TV only, sound through mic and TV, sound through kinect only, sound through mic but sounds like kinect.

    Also, still have to turn on part chat after accepting an invite, randomly turns off your chat without notification if not playing same game. Randomly turns off all sound/chat during games and then randomly returns all sound and chat after game ends.

    This was perfected on 360. They have the ability. What is the problem. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel Microsoft.

    No sound through TV (HDMI)

    I bought a new TV the other day, and everything worked fine. I got up today and the TV suddenly decided to stop playing audio from my Xbox. I tried several HDMI cables in different slots on the TV and on several different Xboxes. No sound. Other devices
    produce sound normally through the TV. What would be causing this, and why would it happen overnight while everything was off?

    Game sound through the tv either with the headphone jack or the RCA jacks into the tv if it has outputs

    then I spliced my chat headset controller jack into the mic/chat cable of the x11 now have stereo game sound ( footsteps galore ) and full chat functionality on my x11

    wireless headset constantly cuts off from xbox

    Wired to the controller has a loss of audio as well. Sound through the tv wired with hdmi works fine.

    How to use headphones only for sound

    To my knowledge, you can not adjust game sound to come through the headphones only. However, you can do this for chat by going into the chat setting and voicing through the headset only. As far as game sound, I usually turn my tv all the way down and just
    turn up the game sound on my controller with the headset adapter.

    Not through the controller for in game sounds, if you are just using regular headphones you would need to plug them into the jack in your TV.

    As far as I know there is no way to set them up so they play through the control pad.

    Basically my x11 has 2 audio jacks , 1 that plugged into the xbox tv out adapter (not hdmi) and 1 that plugged into the controller , the first is now plugged into my tv and game sound comes through fine and in stereo . When an adapter comesout that means
    I can plug the second audio jack into my controller will that push through the chat and activate the mic ?
