No Game Chat

Discus and support No Game Chat in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Here's my setup - Astro Mixamp (2011 version), Audio Technica AD700 headphones, ModMic, Stereo Headset Adapter.     No Game Chat


    Here's my setup - Astro Mixamp (2011 version), Audio Technica AD700 headphones, ModMic, Stereo Headset Adapter.

    For some reason I can't get game chat. I can clearly see the mic icons of other people light up when they talk, but I can't hear them. They can't hear me. I don't have a mic icon by my gamer tag. Party chat works fine though.

    My NAT is always open, both in the Xbox One's settings and in the game menu.

    I've fiddled with all the buttons on the headset adapter to get game chat to work without success.

    I've had this problem on two Xbox One's so I don't think it's the console itself.

    Controller is updated.

    What's going on?

    My friends also use the same headset that I do.

    So i spoke to MS and this is what got my headset working

    Kinect Settings> check if the Use Kinect Microphone for Chat is , checked.

    please do this on the console 3 times in a row. Settings > Blu-ray & Disc > Clear Persistent Storage.

    Please restart the console by going to Settings and then Network > Advanced Settings> Alternate Mac Address>

    When the game starts hit the menu (start) button and check the chat channel it happens to me few times we get into a game and no one can hear each other but if you toggle chat channels that has worked for me every time so far

    Hello there,

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! In regards to the party chat issue, have you tried to troubleshoot your network? I would suggest trying to restart your network Modem/router by unplugging it for 2 minutes then plugging it back in.

    it's an audio setup, check the levels or the microphone is connected, if the problem is the one that listens to you that should be the problem, if your computer is in good condition
