    No friends party messages etc


    I'm really not sure what's been going on or how long this is been but when I push left from the home it dims like it's going to open the snap and then does nothing tried hard reset and unplugging didn't do anything can't open messages or party from home
    button when invited. Someone please help.

    Friends Online Notifications

    I'm not getting any notifications for friends coming online either, messages, party invites etc. all show up though.

    Hey there!

    Unfortunately, there is no way for you to see your 'friends history'. You can try to see if you've received any notifications from them such as: messages, party invites, game invites, etc.

    You will need to do a factory reset. The update has some weird issues after it installs and causes this. This solution has worked for many consoles I have been supporting on community chat.

    same here can watch Netflix etc etc yet dashboard says connect to xbox live .... was randomly kicked from game with friends and they still playing but I cant play nothing join party send messages etc etc. I don't see how my friends are unaffected ... baffled!!

    It all depends on where your Friends are. Thats all that really matters. It wont be fun if they're on a whole different system. Xbox is better geared toward playing with friends (Xbox LIVE Parties, Private Chats, Voice Messages, etc.)!
