No Free kinect adapter for those who upgraded to X box X!?!?

I know when the X box s released people were eligible to get a free kinect adapter. Why is this not the case with the X box X?

I have just upgraded from 1 X Box One + Kinect to 1 X Box One X and I wish to receive, free of charge, the adapter to use my Kinect as explained on your site. Can you do what's necessary?

i wanted to buy x box one console and x box i got x box one s console and with this i bought kinect sensor but to my shock i was not able to setup kinect sensor with x box one s because i was not having an adapter .....i paid so much money already for console
controller kinect now im asked to buy an adapter ....pls microsoft i want an adapter for free i bought whole x box one s from yanbu saudi arabia (jarir book store) pls help me get an adapter for free !!

 

The Xbox One S was the first one that didn't have the Kinect port. That is why there was a PROMO for a free Kinect Adapter.

 

Yeah I know but if someone is willing to upgrade to a newer more expensive system they should do the same for them.

 

Okay. So you already know that the Xbox One S has no Kinect port.

It is granted that you know the same thing happens on the Xbox One X.

Since it is commonly known there is no port, an adapter is needed, which is bought separately.

It was understandable that there was a promo before since it was a shift to a product with no port.

It is redundant to provide the same exact promo.

 

Microsoft have abandoned the Kinect and will no longer be supporting it. It's unsurprising that they're not repeating the offer as they really just want to pretend it never existed. It's a shame really, it was handy for skype.

 

Contact XBOX ONE support and open a case with them for a free Kinect adapert for the new "X" version. They are getting lots of complaints and the "man" will send it.l
