No Free Gamertag change after attempt last week

Hi Folks,

Have had my Xbox Live gamertage for a decade now and I fancy a change. I logged onto the xbox site last week and used the change gamertag tool. It checked to see if the new gamertag was available. It was. I 'claimed' it and it informed me that this first change
was free with subsequent changes being charged.

Completed the process and...nothing. My gamertag hasn't changed. And if I go into the change gamertag options again it wants to charge me now.

This is a bit disappointing and unfair I lost my free gamertag change for no reason with no change having come through.

Any advice/guidance?

TBOGT - Multiplayer Free Mode Problems

Anyone else having problems connecting to the Free Mode Multiplayer game on GTA at the moment? Was all working fine last week but no every attempt I get 'Disconnected Returning to Single Player' Not made any changes to rotuer and all required ports are
open :-(

my gamertag is the same as my last namne

this is not okej_!!!!!!

can i plz change it for free

did make a changer but then was my account hacked and they did namne the gamertag after a drug

but now its my last namne and thats not oki so wonder if i could change for free

The free change is only available if you were given a randomly generated tag when you created your account and are changing that tag. Since you have a tag you created yourself, you are not eligible for the free change. You will have to pay to change your
tag.

Hello Demi! Unfortunately you can change your gamertag only once for free! You would be required to get charged for the next gamertag change attempt, very sorry to hear you put the incorrect letters! Every gamertag change is $9.99 USD after the first one.

no. the last time i changed gamertags was almost a year ago already. ive been trying to get my gamertag changed since last week.

nope, first name change is free then all changes after still costs £7.99, i only changed mine last week which was the second time but wanting to go back lol.
