    No due process in Enforcement Suspension


    Hi, My sons Xbox live account has been suspended for 24hrs due to a Communication issue. It would appear he won a game of Fortnite Season 3 Battle Royale and the loser has put in a complaint and had him banned without any due process or right of reply.This
    is after the loser contacted my son first and accused him of "Camping" and told him to learn to play better, also stating that my son didn't kill him. My son's reply was to Shut up and deal with it.

    Anyways, as it a 24hr Suspension/ban he has no right to have the case reviewed. So it appears this process allows anyone to complain about anyone without due process and have a player banned for simply winning. A sore loser ends up winning. It also costs
    us 10gb in data as the game is deleted from his Xbox and has to be re-installed, Well done Xbox Live , great way to teach children to behave. Just put in a complaint and we will ban them. No questions asked!!! Not happy at all.

    If you are frustrated due to receiving a suspension, there are a few things you should know…

    The enforcement team does not use the forums. They are only contactable via the case review process at
    https://enforcement.xbox.com/.

    PlayStation has similar conduct rules and suspensions with no appeals process.

    Getting Suspended No Reason

    For suspensions/bannings, you'd need to post here -
    forums.xbox.com/.../41.aspx

    However, there is no appeal process. The enforcement team does not issues suspensions/bannings without proof.

    No due process in Enforcement Suspension

    The enforcement team investigates each complaint they receive and will only issue a suspension if they determine you have done something to violate the code of conduct. So you can have a million complaints filed against you and not receive a suspension.
    His suspension could also have been for a separate incident and not the one you're posting about.

    If it's a suspension due to billing yes. If it's a suspension given by the enforcement team, no.

    Support was mistaken. The Enforcement Team does not use the forums and only they can respond to any enforcement action they issue. The only way to reach them is through the case review process. If it's a 24 hour suspension, those are not eligible due to
    how short the duration is and how long a review can take.
