  1. No dolby atmos when streaming

I have been using a denon x2600h with my xbox one x and can only get atmos when using a blu ray disc. Whenever I try to stream atmos it is displayed as multi channel PCM. I believe this is down to a dolby app issue but having xbox and dolby blame each other
isn't resolving the issue that's been going on for months.

We either need an update or I need to sell this dud box one I've been mis sold

    :)

Can I stream Dolby atmos through various services and get atmos through headphones?

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    good evening

Yes, it is possible to stream Dolby Atmos through various services and get Atmos through headphones. However, this will depend on several factors, including the device or platform you are using to stream the content, the type of headphones you have, and the specific content you are trying to access.

Some streaming services, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+, offer Dolby Atmos content, but you will need a compatible device, such as a smart TV or a streaming media player, that supports the Dolby Atmos format. Additionally, you will need a pair of headphones that support Dolby Atmos, such as the Plantronics RIG 800LX, the Sony WH-1000XM4, or the Sennheiser Ambeo Smart Headset.

Once you have both the compatible device and headphones, you will need to make sure that Dolby Atmos is enabled on both the streaming service and your device settings. If all these conditions are met, you should be able to enjoy the immersive sound experience of Dolby Atmos through your headphones while streaming content.

Dolby Atmos on Xbox One X = issue !

wrong, i have dolby atmos but it is not true 7,1 surround it must be a compressed signal , as 7,1 true would be way to large to stream.

i have a Onkio reciever, the dolby app and Netflix is in an Atmos signal on supported shows

Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the app?

As it's Dolby who created the app, it is up to them to fix. All Microsoft/Xbox can do is wait for the fix to be presented and then run it through the Xbox Insider Preview program to check it out. As pointed out it is a waiting game. Maybe you could ask
Dolby via their support or twitter feed.

Are you in the Xbox Insider Preview program? I know there has been issues for sometime, where atmos won't work properly.
