No disc will work since at least 29 Sept 2018.

I have not used any disc in the last few weeks. I wanted to watch a blu-ray last night and continuously got error; please make sure this is a blu-ray disc Yada Yada It is, I followed all the trouble shooting to no avail.

So today I tried to play a game I have purchased and was already loaded on my account. Same issue. Disc is pristine, the only thing that happened is Xbox wanted me to download groove and it ripped all the songs from the disc. However, it will not play the
game. I tried all the trouble shooting, and no dice.

My account is up to date, network status is good. What the heck is going on?

Xbox Live issue - Users can't like or comment on posts within clubs they own *or* admin in, on Xbox Live!

Hi All, I've received approx. 20 reports from club owners and\or admins who can't like or comment on posts inside their own clubs. This issue has existed since at least Sept 10, 2018. Can this be escalated to Xbox Support for investigation and a fix?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We recommend
uninstalling and reinstalling the Blu-ray application. There is an article entitled

Set Up and Install the Blu-ray and DVD Player App that will explain how to install the application. Be sure to let us know the results!

 

Will this also help with my Xbox one game discs?

 

Did you tried to power reset and to reinstall the bluray app on the console?!?

When I started with my xbox I did not know why I could not watch movies until I searched and it was that I had to download the blu ray app and the music one too, but there is something that happens with the xbox lens that can be dirty and I
want to read the disc. It is best to take the console to a cleaning technician.
