    No digital via HDMI ARC


    Hi All,

    I get Digital Audio via my Opitcal to Px4 headset, however using HDMI I can only get stereo?

    Setup is as follows.

    Xbox One -> HDMI -> Samsung TV ARC -> HDMI -> Samsung Soundbar

    Anyone have any tips on how to get this working? or should this work at all?

    Help with audio issue on Xbox one s.

    Forgot to give setup. Xbox is connected to tv directly via hdmi, then tv out to receiver via hdmi arc. It has always worked like this before with old xbox one. I tried connecting direct to reciever then pic to tv via arc, but then it says it is not 4k. Even
    though reciever is capable of 4k arc passthrough.

    Xbox One S with LG SJ9 Soundbar

    I have the same problem with the SJ9 with the same error message via ARC and HDMI in.

    No digital via HDMI ARC

    Hi, had the same problems (though with a philips tv and home cinema set) with HDMI ARC. After hours of almost throwing remotes out of the window i can only come to one simple conclusion. The xbox does not yet support HDMI ARC. Please DO correct me if i'm

    No problems here connecting the xbox through HDMI ARC and getting surround sound so yes it supports it.

    This doesn't look right to me (i could be wrong) Xbox One -> HDMI -> Samsung TV ARC -> HDMI -> Samsung Soundbar
    Should be....
    Xbox One -> HDMI -> Samsung Soundbar (must be a ARC compatible soundbar with the correct HDMI sockets in/out) -> HDMI -> Samsung TV ARC / Headset optical -> Samsung Soundbar change setting on xbox
