BF thoughts for a COD player please

Destructive environments make the game different each time ya play it. Where playing cod seems the same no matter what.

My Xbox updated at a normal pace and restarted console. upon returning to the home screen i found my profile deleted and my hardrive deformatted basically deleting the entire 150 GB of content stored on it. It Also is refusing to allow me to format the hardrive

  4. No destructive environment??

I dunno about the beta, but I would think it will be in the full released game. It is the Frostbite engine after all.

  5. Hmmm unfortunately Hardline is just BF4 with parts removed, without tanks and the AC130 etc, there may not be full environment destruction.

Yeah, I noticed the lack of destruction also. Unfortunately, the beta did nothing to convince me that Hardline is a must buy. I hope it's a hit, at least for a niche crowd anyway, but the game's just not for me. I'll stick to BF4.

    No destructive environment??

the beta convinced me to buy it! the gunplay feels like battlefield and that is enough for me! shooters are my favorite type of games and I tend to like most of them! I even liked medal of honor and homefront on the 360 so I am not very pickey when it comes
to shooters! lol (just my opinion)

  9. they've been steadily scaling down the environmental destruction since BFBC2 Vietnam ... ever since the first Bad Company, destruction has been one of the series best draws for me ....and each BF iteration after Vietnam has less than the previous ....disappointing
as time goes by for those who appreciate the feature.....but then I'm very picky and when it comes to a game series I expect the next to be better than the last ... developers making excuses gets old, look at the Master Chief collection, they actually said
they left the glitches and bugs because they were "charming" ...I beg to differ ....anyway, I liked Vietnam, loved starting a match in the jungle and ending it with scorched earth ....I wanna drive an armored vehicle through a soft building or structure ....like
a hut or a shed or even a house though its a risk to get stuck in the basement

  10. It makes playing on the same maps much less repetitive.

I love the way it allows for some "interesting" tactics at times, someone camping the door?

BOOM! go through the wall... No destructive environment?? ;)

After the mess and disaster that was BF4. I thought dice was actually going to try and put in an effort for once and make a somewhat playable game. After playing the demo, I am thoroughly convinced DICE is nothing but a real life joke EA decided to make
to see how many lackluster games they could make and people would still by. The demo was utterly terrible, it just doesn't make sense how they can make something like this and people will still buy and play it. I know everyone has their own tastes and whatever
but common, this game look and played like a rushed, unpolished mess.

What does Activision gotta do with anything? They are in no way, shape or form related to the creation of this monstrosity .

It's not Dice. Visceral developed the game. Doesn't look different, but I'll give it to them for trying to mix things up I guess.

  15. I think they got it right with BF4 but executed it poorly. I'd of rather seen them iron out all the issues in what they already have, instead of making some weird spin off that plays like a stand alone dlc.
