No credit for achievements.

I am constantly doing the necessary requirements to unlock an achievement and constantly receiving no points. On multiple games, I have 100% completion but no achievement nor the points affiliated. This glitch sucks when you're an achievement hunter. This
flaw also affects my Xbox rewards. No achievement points= no reward points. Something needs to be done.

We do not award Credits for achievements, unless as part of a special offer. Currently, there are no offers for achievements.

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? Achievements will only earn credits it they are part of a specific offer (like the current Dr. Rewards offer). Usually you have to purchase a game and then you unlock to option to earn credits
based on earning a number of achievements in that game.

Otherwise, there are no offers to receive credits just for earning achievements.

 

Same thing happening to me on two different games. I was planning on achievement hunting all weekend, but now I don't even want to play.

 

This has been going on for two days now. I'm hesitant on play anymore games until Xbox gets this fixed. I have an achievement on Amazing Spider-Man 2 that won't unlock.

I am playing watchdogs and in-game progress wheel says i should have about 3 achievements, that xbox will not give me. This is very frustrating especially sence im trying to 100% this game and i want the achievements

 

I don't know why this question has been marked as answered as it hasn't been by this support bloke. He just does a copy and paste in every thread about achievement problems.

They are only acknowledging that there is a problem and looking into it. They havn't said that they have found a fix to unlock the achievements which have glitched at 100% complete but not crediting GS.

I am in the same boat as other people with glitched achievements and I am hesitant now on playing games on my xbox one

 

Yes playing Ghost yesterday leveled to a 55 on one of the characters, played the next game. BOOM back down to 50...

 

Marv, you hit it right on the money. I've seen the same post on another achievement problem. I just say don't single him out. Most of the Xbox support team seem to be blokes by the responses I get. The next time I'm asked to hard reset or unplug my Xbox,
I may just pack it up.

I know its not his fault, he is just saying that they are looking into it.

I am checking this sub forum every day and all I see is new threads being posted about achievement problems. I think that this is the tip of the iceberg and that there are a whole lot more people who are affected and havn't checked their achievements to
see if they are locked.

To me this is starting to be a big problem and people are thinking that nothing is happening to rectify this and are starting to get a bit miffed with Microsoft, and rightfully so in my eyes.

Even Major Nelson has a locked achievement and he probably doesn't know about it yet. It would be funny though if he posted here to say that he has the same problem and to see what response he gets.

We are getting told to do a hard power down and reboot but we have to do this anyway as there are still problems with the OS where the game doesn't load properly. I did read that someone fixed their locked Ryse achievements by deleting their local and cloud
saves, this in my view is an extreme thing to do as people will lose hours of hard earned progress in a game.

All we can do is play the waiting game and hope that this problem does not get swept under the carpet.
