    hello i am a 18 year old senior in high school. i wanted to buy the interview with the money i received today from Christmas but it wont allow me due to settings. i have tried to upgrade my account to adult but it needs a credit card which i dont have
    and never will. please help

    I have been trying to download a game for my grandaughter. I have 2000 or more points. I have discontinued my credit card. Am I still able to download games as long as I have the points? When I confirm download I get " The Xbox system is down" or something
    like that. But when I check the system it is "up and running"

    to use free month offer you Need to Setup a payment Instrument, PayPal should be possible too i think, because it will automatically renew after 30days if you do not disable renewing

    Can you try the steps here to promote your child account to an adult one?

    Note that "Steps 6 to 9 apply only to accounts that are currently billed to a credit or debit card. If your account has a pre-paid subscription, go to step 10."

    Steps 6 to 9 are about adding credit cards - only necessary if the current Gold subscription is paid for by credit/debit card.

    it now says after getting back home nothing of being promoted like i already completed it. so im just going along with it for the time being. thank you for your help.

    is the credit card your trying to use a stratght credit or is it a credit/debit card?

    i don't have live credit

    and my credit card not locked

    my credit card is working

    i mean billing (under the credit card information) region address is locked at US and don't have US address

    airmattdog... i dont think so.

    If i add a prepaid card, i believe i wont be able to remove the credit card. since the prepaid card will take priority, and the credit card membership will be delayed. and i have to remove the credit card asap...

    I may just wait until the credit card membership ends, too lazy to call xbox live support so they can remove the credit card. :p
