No controller settings in darktide on the pc Xbox game pass

We understand that the controller settings are missing for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide while playing it on the Xbox app on Windows. However, you are not experiencing this controller issue with other games played on the same app.

Since this issue only happens in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide that would suggest one of two things. Either the game needs an update, or it does not have controller support at all.

If it just needs an update usually when you launch the game, it should pop-up with such a reminder. If no such reminder appears you may have to check from within the Microsoft Store since the Xbox app uses that too. Please use the steps from our Get updates for apps and games in Microsoft Store guide for this step.

If none of those steps resolve the issue you will have to contact Fatshark -- the game developer -- for more help on this issue. Either you submit a request with them or post on their forums this issue of yours using the links below.

After doing some research, it seems that the only Warhammer game included with Game Pass that can be played on PC is "Warhammer 40,000: Darktide", as you can verify for yourself in the following link by selecting the option that says "PC Games" at the top:
