    All other devices in the house that require wifi work just fine. My xbox WILL NOT connect despite trying all the usual procedures. I have also tried contacting live support and they won't answer, can anyone here help?

    Computer won't connect while Xbox is on. I did all necessary settings.

    Yes, I've tried all the usual tricks and quick fixes, but still no dice. :-(

    Which type of console do you have? FAT or Slim?

    How old is the console?

    It is possible that the wifi adapter on the console (built in or external if an older console) could be dead due to age.

    Delete your Gamer Tag in reference. But don't delete any files associated with it, then recover your gamer tag. It should work then. If it doesn't, hit up the Xbox Support Phone.

    Fixed it. It was either undead nightmare or one of the two free DLC's. So to get this far I've wiped absolutely everything and had to start from the beginning. Sucks really.
