No connection to the internet, and the following drama

For several days now, i have had the habit of watching youtube on my Xbox One (don't get me started on how stupid that name is).

This has been working rather ... intermittently.

Today, things got interesting. No matter what I did, i was not allowed internet access. Upon troubleshooting, it told me that the XBone couldn't find my DHCP server. Which i found odd, since every single device in the entire building can connect to it without
any problem.

So, i restarted the Xbox. MANY times. I restarted the router, despite the fact that the internet was working as expected on literally everything else. Yes, my fridge is even connected to the internet without trouble.

NOTHING!

I then decided to check the status for the Live service, nothing wrong there.

Checked all connections, tried FOUR different patch cables, then attempted to connect to the internet over WiFi.

You'll all be shocked to learn nothing worked.

So i did a factory reset.

But here's the punchline; For many years, i've had TWO microsoft accounts.. or whatever the *** you wanna call them. When i got my first Xbox, i used an old mail. When that mail was abandoned, i was already in the beginning of the 360 era.

I then asked micorsoft for help, since i had all my goodies on the old, dead mail-account, could you please merge the account with the new mail?

No, you could not. Because i'm a thief and a pirate who only want to steal people's ***, no matter how hard i attempt to prove my identity.

Seriously, i remember offering you a DNA sample, but i was still a crooked theif.

So now i can't log in to my "old" account on which i have purchased "a few" games. Since the mail adress is dead, i can't reset my password.

I *CAN* however, use my "new" account to watch YouTube, becuase after the factory reset, my internet connection is suddenly as stable as ever.

I have therefore come to the conclusion that you don't give two *** about your customers. I hereby disown my xbox one, and will from now on never ever buy another xbox.

Help my ***, i have never, ever, ever had to dump this much effort and time into solving problems, as i have with my xboxes and repeated contacts with your "support" service to solve the double-account issue.

It's not worth the head ache.

I wish to rate your service as rather poor.

Seriously, I get better support from a drug dealer than i do from Microsoft. I'm dead *** serious.
