No connection to Live despite having a subscription

I've seen a few other topics that are having the same issue, but since the solutions for those topics aren't working, I've made my own.

I have Gold, and my subscription isn't set to expire until May, but since yesterday, I haven't been able to access Live. My internet's working fine after the service disruption was fixed, and my connection is rated 'all good', but clicking on the 'connect
to Xbox Live' button only get's a beep noise.

I've signed off and signed back on; I turned it off and back on again about ten times; I triple-checked my subscription and my notifications to make sure that I've been paid for. At this point I'm not sure what's going on.

Any thoughts?

No Gamer Pics or Thumbnails

I'm having the same issues, no Video after update, no pics/thumbnails on anything. Despite being connected to live Netflix is giving me a "Internet Connection Problem" a reply from MS to this thread would be great!

try this and see if it hooks up.......

go into settings and accounts and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on the console for 8 seconds till it powers down , while
it is off , unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up , re add your main profile ...it may sit there and sync a little while
but all SHOULD be good afterwards ...
