No component cable option for new 360?

I bought a new 4GB Slim xbox 360, and the only thing I can see are composite cables and HDMI cables. I tried to hook up my old component cables that worked with my old xbox 360 but I did not even see a slot for it. How can I make component cables work with
my xbox 360? Everyone keeps saying to use this (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Component-HDAV-High-Definition-Cable/dp/B000SJ5ZX0) However that ending does
not have a place to hook up on my 360...

Xbox 360 slm

Now remember the new 360 Slims no longer come with component cables only composite. Composite are Red, Yellow and White and they are not HD cables. I use a 5 dollar eBay HDMI cable so no problem but it was nicer when MS included the component cables in the
box.

Do games that are 60fps lose their framerate when playing 720p on a native 1080p screen ?

I have also just realised there is another option for me .

HD Composite cables ! I thought component cables only came in standard TV resolution.

How favourable are the hd component cables ? Will they cover high resolutions like hdmi does ?
