No code on receipt after purchase from a store

If you purchased a subscription card the code should be on the back of the card you may need to scratch off the code. If you purchased from a store that gives you a code on the receipt then you'd need to talk to that store, there's nothing that Microsoft can
do for you there. It's the stores responsibility to fulfill that code for you if you don't have anything on the back of the card you purchased or on the receipt.

If you were from a third-party store, ideally, contact the store that made the purchase with your purchase receipt so they can help you.

Is there not a code on them at all or do they have a different code that needs to be entered elsewhere?

If they don't have a code at all, check the card. There are some stores that have those cards on the shelves in stores, but print the actual code on the receipt at the time of purchase. You would need the receipt from the person who bought them if that's
the case.

If you are getting a message saying that the code is not active yet then please return to the store you purchased it from (with your receipt) and have them activate the code.
