No code in email to redeem gift

Sorry to post on a forum, but I don't see any way to get legitimate support from Microsoft about an issue we are having. My son bought my daughter a game voucher through some kind of Microsoft store. The email arrived at my daughter's Gmail account, but
there was no redeem code. There is no visible support and I have no idea how to assist them with this problem. Does anyone actually work for Microsoft who can assist with this?

I havent received my xbox live free gift

I've just gotten a second gift email with the exact same problem as the first one. When I click the link it takes me to the redeem code page... but there's no code, just a "_"

Pretty curious as to what the free gift is now lol, why not just put the actual code in the email?

I would contact Support through this link. Also you can have her check her Xbox messages on the console to see if its there as well!

No, you have to redeem the code. And then it send you a secondary code to your email that you then put in the redeem gift card. section in the store.

There are two ways to gift to friends. The first, email gifting, will give you a redeemable code after purchase (usually sent to you via email). This one you can then send to your friend. The only drawback is if you get their email address wrong and they may not receive it.

The second method which is the best is gifting directly to their gamertag on your list. That code will be sent to them via the Xbox Message Center and can be redeemed directly on the console.

The person who you gifted it to should receive an email with a code they would need to redeem to install it.

Start by going to epic games, clicking on the account icon and selecting “redeem code” and enter the code on the V Bucks Gift Card. You will have to sign into your Microsoft account from here when you select to redeem on Xbox.

This will then send you an email with the Gift Card translated into a Microsoft code.

Go on to your Xbox and navigate to “Redeem”. Enter the translated 25 digit code from your email.

Voila.
