No Code for Dark Souls 1 yet

I pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 over 10 days ago (digitally) and still have not yet received a download code for Dark Souls 1. Why is this?

Yea, don't advertise something if you don't plan on honoring it. Not cool. Spent money on a pre order so I could get this promotion but hey, once again, microsoft has dissapointed.

 

Pre ordered, digitally, on the 21st, and still don't haven't seen any sign of it... granted it hasn't been exactly ten days for me yet, but I'm finding the odds of getting it harder and harder to believe. What's the chances of me getting it tomorrow or the
next day, when everyone else is having issues...

 

Hi, Dark Souls 1 is currently not backward compatible yet. When it does become compatible, then you will probably get your code.

 

I Pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 deluxe edition on 2/18/16. I still have not received my code for Dark Souls (1) via xbox live messages. It is past the 7-10 day promised window. I've called the support line multiple times with no resolve.

I'm very disappointed, over promised and under delivered. I'd much rather own a hard copy but I settled for the soft version, completely motivated because it came with a dark souls 1 copy, and even more motivated that I'd have something to show and play
for my $85 until 4/12.

 

Someone on the mobile Microsoft support line said they were distributing codes and I'd get it by midnight last night, I didn't. I've done the leg work and then some with this issue. And with you being ambassador to these forums I'd like to see you come up
with something better than it's not backwards compatible yet. It's promised to be 2 or 3 days ago considering the way it was sold. Do I have to go through the painful process of calling and canceling? Can you expedite or do anything about this issue at all?

 

Same complaint as everybody else. Ordered the DS3 digital deluxe package on Feb 17th, still haven't received any codes in my message center. It would be one thing if it was stated anywhere that it would be 7-10 days after Dark Souls would appear in the backwards-compatible
library, but there's nothing.
