No "Closed Caption" option in "Settings->Console Settings->Display" ...

settings tab--->system--->console settings--->display---->closed captioning--->click off.

Go to Settings > Console Settings > Display > Closed Captioning > Choose Off > Select Save and Exit.

My console setting only show - Network, Kinect, Preferences, TV & OneGuide, Disc & Blu-ray, System, Display & sound, Closed captioning and Power & startup. That is only options in Console setting.

So no Energy Saving??????????????????????????????????????????????????

same here: Settings > Console Settings > Display > Closed Captioning > Choose... what? No captions menu after last update.

I need CC.... but cant turn on, Xbox team dont care?

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. We understand you are wanting to turn off the audio commentary? Usually this is within the settings or options at the beginning of the movie. Otherwise, hit B like you are going to pause the movie, look
for an audio symbol and select English standard. Also here is option for close captioning.

For videos offered through Movies & TV and for many third party apps, you should be able to use the settings on your Dashboard to play closed captions when they are available.

Here's how to enable closed captioning on your Xbox 360 console:

1. On your console, go to settings, System, and then
   Console Settings.
   
   Note If you’re not seeing settings, you might be using an old version of the console software. For information about how to update it, see
   
   How to get a new Xbox 360 update.
2. Select Display.
3. Select Closed Caption.
4. To see closed captions in the default Media Settings view, click
   Use Media Setting.
   
   To personalize closed captions, click Use customer style and follow the steps to customize the closed captions for the following:
   • Background color
   • Background transparency
   • Caption effect
   • Color (of letters)
   • Size (of letters)
   • Style (of letters)
   • Windows color
   • Windows transparency
