No Closed beta code received of Gears of War 4 - Case Number: [Mod Removed]

Hi there,

I just had contact with support through the chat it was a good conversation and glad i was helpen correctly.

The issue where it is about is that i still haven't received my code for the closed beta of gears of war 4 and since i read both forums like this one and the gears of war forum and it was said offcourse it comes in waves but they also told that everyone
should have received the code at the latest on the 21th.

Thats why i contacted support through chat how long we still have to wait since the closed beta is until sunday thats about 3 days from now..

They gave me a case number and i have put it in the subject line, hope to get helped soon.

I myself just got off of the phone with customer support and was directed to post on the forums because I am having the same issue. I bought Gears of War Ultimate Edition Day 1 and played it but I still have yet to receive my code. All of my friends have
recieved theirs?

It's extremely frustrating that as a consumer being told "buy this game you'll get the beta April18th" and I don't. What really gets under my skin is that there are multiple streamers on twitch that are giving multiple codes away. Now tell me how it is that
I can't get my code as promised by buying the game, but there's multiple people now playing the beta that I should be playing just because they were watching someone's twitch stream and won a code?

I feel valued as a long term customer and supporter of the Xbox community as a whole... Guess I better just start begging twitch streamers for a code since Xbox won't give me one even though I bought the game and played it day 1.

 

i know what you meen i was also so terribly upset thats why i contact support through chat and they helped me out fine i do still feel upset about it but i'm also glad i was helped out correctly so i hope they contact me soon xODEEZYx

Me too, still no code. Coalition doing a very bad job so far. I bought the gears of war ue bundle in august and no code not fair. someone help

 

Currently chatting with a rep. Seems to be very confident he'll be able to help. Will post back.

 

Still chatting with the rep and he stated that the promotion team is equipped to handle issues like ours. He's currently waiting on a response. Will continue to try and update.

 

LOL "Promotion"? I remember TC said this is "technical beta".

I played UE before April 11 and still no code

 

So I guess I'm waiting on them to contact me... Not exactly what I was hoping for but we'll see.

 

It is frustrating having to do all of this, but as long as if I get my code I'll be happy. It is disappointing that I bought the game under the terms that if I bought it and played it I would get access April 18th and it's now the 21st and still no access.
I refuse to accept that I'll be able to play it at least when the open beta starts; because I did after all buy the game to get "early access"

 

So now this is starting to seem like it's not going anywhere... The agent is trying to tell me that you had to be playing the game on April 11th @11pm. I know that this is not the case at all so we'll see...

 

If this is true, MS is trying find the hole to avoid potential issue (legal maybe)
