No Chat After Ban... !!!!!

Discus and support No Chat After Ban... !!!!! in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Got banned for 2 weeks which ended 2 days ago.     No Chat After Ban... !!!!!


    Got banned for 2 weeks which ended 2 days ago.

    I can play multiplayer games but can't chat to my friends etc.

    I've gone through all the suggestions in the forums and web, and still nothing.

    Looking through the forums, this has been a known issue for years, which is a disgrace seeing that we pay for this service through the Gold Subscription.

    Fair enough I broke the rules and was issued a 2 week ban, but now the ban is over I would say that it was Microsoft breaking their terms of service.

    1) Will Microsoft fix this and when?

    2) I would expect the days that I have been denied my full paid for service to be refunded or my Gold Sub extended to compensate.

    No game chat after ban lifted

    Hi, try to reset your console by holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. Turn it on and try again.

    Also, run a network test and let us know what your NAT is. Open, moderate or strict?

    No game chat after ban lifted

    So I recently had a communications ban lifted and I can join a party and hear people just fine but i cannot hear in game chat. I see the indicators that players are talking but I cannot hear them. I have enen tried starting a party
    and switching to game chat that way with no luck.

    Sorry to see any issues with a suspension! It sounds like your console has been issued a suspension as well, and filing a Case Review while your account's suspension was active would have brought that to light. An email is sent to your Microsoft Account
    email explaining the suspensions, and you will want to check that for more information. The Enforcement team are not on these forums, and we are unable to comment on any Enforcement Actions ourselves.

    after the 24 hrs, 6 hrs after ban lifted, still cannot communicate via party chat.

    in the end, i regained my ability to use chat after my little brothers chat ban has been lifted. if any of you are banned in this fashion, that's the issue. microsoft, if you could change what the game tells you, that would be great

    Ok I get that, but even after I got chat banned the person still kept sending me messages. I reported their messages but they did things like typing “Losser” or “idi0t” so nothing happened.

    But for me I immediately got chat banned.
