Further to Arminator's post, the voice call feature may also be used to call a VOIP number if it doesn't support SMS text messages (eg if you are using an ATA and old style corded or cordless phone). YMMV, it worked for me in Canada for a Fongo VOIP number.

Instead of sending a code number as text message to a cellphone, this will cause an automated recording call you on your landline phone, and tell you a code number you can use to verify.

However, depending on your country, landline phones might not be supported. If so, you would have to try to contact the official support via

Not really they don't use it to contact you other then security validation most services require 2 validation contacts

haha, close but cell phones cant text to landline phones. That one has baffled me for years why we can do so much on cell phones and not on much faster land lines. But Thank you for post, of course cross platform or backwards is possible. Just not according
