No button works on my xbox app. I can't even close out when I hit the "x" button. Task...

Will doing this remove any files on my computer?

Try these and see:

1. Press Win+R. Now enter the command: control.exe /name Microsoft.CredentialManager
2. Open the tab "Windows Credentials". And remove all the tokens.
3. Restart your device and see.

I open the xbox app on my iphone or ipad, hit the button to the left of the notifications, it shows my console is on and which one it is connected to, I select "open remote control," hit the keyboard function on the bottom left, type anything in (I literally typed "Test" in the box,) hit the return button and it minimizes but text box still appears and the text box on my xbox is not populated with what I type, and when I hit the 'X' to close the the keyboard and text box, the app freezes

I had exactly the same issue - even the close button did not work. Right click close window - Nothing.

Ending task was the only thing that got rid of it but even after re-boot I was stuck with an un-clickable interface.

Closing just the Xbox process and then opening the Store from the Icon worked - but - dear God WHY did it work?

That's just utterly awful coding - Microsoft fix your App - you are ploughing money into something that is totally wasted on a disfunctional app.

I tried it out and unfortunately, even after a restart, it still hangs on Minecraft Launcher after I click the log in button in the XBox pop-up. I also noticed that the launcher doesn't close when I press X, it just closes the window and is stuck in the background. Only killing it with the Task Manager lets me restart it... something is in an endless loop with the login. Two games with the same bug? It must be something with the Windows / XBox login or services :|

As I mentioned, Halo: Infinite worked, from Gamepass as well as when logging in from the Steam version.
