No Battery Status - Windwos 10 - Xbox One Wireless Controller

Hi,

im using the newly released xbox one wireless adapter for Windows 10 which is connected to the xbox one Controller with Play and Charge battery. Unfortunately neither the XBOX App nor Windows 10 shows me the battery Status of the Controller.

Please consider this in a future update for Windows 10 / Xbox app.

Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Battery Status on Windows 10

Before updating to Windows 10, my computer was on Windows 7 and I was able to check the battery status of my xbox 360 wireless controller by touching the guide button, but it does not work in windows 10. ¿There is any way to check de battery status
of the xbox 360 controller on windows 10?

hello, i have an xbox one S controller and wireless adapter for windows, is there a way to show battery level on game bar overlay on windows 10 ? controler shut down many times wile playing on multiplayer forza event du to the end of battery,no pop up message
or other thing show battery level or status while playing

True, the Link is broken.

The XBOX App in Windows10 should let us calibrate the Controller, including trigger rumble , rumble strengh, button mapping etc.

The Xbox app has much room for improvement- with the wireless xbox one Controller for windows 10, there is no way to check the battery status anywhere...

Insert a new set of AA batteries into the wireless controller and then try to turn it on. For more information about using AA batteries in a wireless controller, see Using AA batteries in your Xbox One wireless controller. If you have an Xbox One Play and
Charge Kit, try using the rechargeable battery pack.

Well, the Xbox 360 use to show battery status when you pressed the guide button, so the most logical place to implement it, would be within the Game Bar, that's used now when you press the Guide button on the XBox One Controller.

Any indicator would at least warn you, currently if your battery is low the controller just Shuts off, no warning.

It blows my mind that wireless controller for windows is such an after thought, they would overlook something like Battery Status.

Vision Verrify

I have to say that the controller is guilty when hearing that noice, but if you have another controller you can try it on that one or on one of your friend's controller. If you don't hear the noice by then, your controller is guilty.

Another option that I experience with a combination of wireless controllers and wired headsets (mic) is that the battery may be low. If you own a wireless controller, please check your battery status or put some new charged in your controller and see of
the problem will disappear.
