    No backwards compatible games launching


    Hi, everytime I try to launch a x360/original game im met with a black screen. I’ve done several hard resets, reinstalled the games and also moved them to an external storage device.

    i’m on a xbox series x, every other game runs fine, just the backwards compatible ones, I cant even bring up the x360 guide - as if the emulator is completely missing from the console.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Hey Metallica5711! When you launch a Backward Compatibility game, are you able to connect through the Xbox 360 guide? You can access the guide by pressing the view and menu buttons when a Backward Compatibility game is launched. Post back and let me know!

    Xbox has put the backwards compatibility program on hold until after the launch of the Series X (at least that's my theory) there is more that goes into making a game backwards compatible, too though.
