    No auto updates in instant on mode.


    Title says it all. I have my xbsx in instant on mode to download updates in the background. It does not do any of the alpha skip ahead updates in the background. It doesn't auto download updates for my game titles either. I have to manually select download update once the power is turned on.

    Is your Xbox set to insatnt on or in power saving mode? It needs to be set to instant on for auto update to work.

    Xbox One Auto Update (NOT)

    Are you using instant on or power saving mode? Do you have external hard drives? If you are using power saving mode, auto update will not work.

    There is already an auto-update option. If you put the console into 'instant-on' mode you won't see game updates, you won't even see console updates.

    The console is set auto update and instant on power mode activated. Also.. allow remote installations is activated. I will try a power cycle when I get home. Thanks
