  1. No audio when setting up wireless keypad

    Hi There

I have just bought a wireless keypad for my controller and having followed all the steps, including checking for updates etc, the keypad works but i am getting no audio connection. Any suggestions as to what might be happening? I've tried it on 2 controllers
    and had the same issue

When i press the connectivity button the LED flashes but doesn't stay on, is that correct?

    Any help gratefully received

    :)

How can i get sound ? with my monitor ?

I'm assuming you hooked it up according to the instructions and charged it up (I think that one is wireless). You have to enable the digital audio out on the Xbox. Settings>display & sound and turn on the optical audio to DTS Digital Surround. Mine is defaulted to off. Hope this works.

Xbox One S - Wireless Headset Party Chat Issues

Alright everyone, I figured out the issue. It didn't have anything to do with my headset or Xbox. Piece of advice, when troubleshooting a specific accessory, make sure to unplug all other accessories because they might be the issue.

The problem and solution: I have a third party keyboard/keypad attachment for my controller (look up "2.4G White Wireless Message Chatpad Keyboard KeyPad for Xbox One S Controller" on Amazon and you'll find the exact one I have and a photo can be found below).
This specific keyboard attachment has a 3.5mm audio jack that rotates 90 degrees up and down that is meant to plug into your controller. When you have this keyboard attached and are using a WIRED headset, you need the audio jack flipped up so it plugs into
your controller and your WIRED headset then plugs directly into the bottom of this keyboard. But if you have this keyboard and are using a WIRELESS headset, make sure that the 3.5mm audio jack is flipped DOWN so it is NOT plugged into your controller. Otherwise,
your controller will assume you are using a WIRED headset and only sends audio signals through that audio jack on the controller and not to your WIRELESS headset.

Hopefully anyone else suffering from this issue can find this solution helpful as I did.

    GAME SOUND

    Hello again Arsenal,

I see there is a few different "Stinger" headsets in their lineup, are these wired, wireless? When you are using them are you always able to hear your friends through party chats it's just the game audio that is not there? When you do plug in a wireless
gaming headset you should see the audio tab appear, If you are using a wireless headset they will for the most part have some volume control on the headset or the adapter.

Take a look at the following to make sure you are setting this up correctly, I know it's pretty straight forward but let's go ahead and confirm.

    I hope this helps.

xbox one audio problems after 1804 update

I'm experiencing issues that occurred after the 5th. One of my Xbox ones doesn't play audio for games, or media apps (prime, Hulu, Netflix, media player, blurays), but will make the keypad sounds, will make the sounds when shutting off the system or changing
settings. Am about to do a system reset on the console, unless anyone is aware of the issue and possibly has a solution. It has parental controls and is heavily censored, but have never had these kind of issues with these controls in place before.

New wireless controller skips around on menu

Brand new xbox -4 days old. The wireless controller all of a sudden started to skip menu options. It skips at least two options using the arrow keypad and joystick. Is there anyway to fix this? Will this be an ongoing problem? I’m unable to go to
settings or the home menu at all.
have you tryed plugging it in to the xbox yet

If you go to network settings in your Dashboard you should see your Wireless Network. There you can connect.
