    Whenever I try to capture clips or stream on twitch through my Xbox when I gta 4 the Xbox doesn’t record audio. I also know that I’m not the only one dealing with this either

    To start troubleshooting, I would suggest you to power reset your console:

    1​​. Turn off your console and your router/modem.
    2. Unplug all the cables from both devices (power, HDMI, etc..) and wait 2 minutes.
    3. After 2 minutes, plug all the cables in again on your router/modem and wait for all the lights to show up.
    ​​​4. Plug all the cables on your console and turn it on.

    I was reading some older forums regarding this issue, there doesn't seem to be a solution.

    a reply to this exact same question by OvershotEagle17 in 2018:

    "Does this happen on any other game you have, or just GTA IV? It could be possible that Rockstar have blocked the audio on recordings because of issues with song licensing." -WUIJIBOBO 12/2/18
