    Hello Edwardo8531, I don't know what type of headset you are using on your Xbox controller, but did it work and stopped working or did it never work on your Xbox?

    Have you tried any procedure on console or PC?

    There are two P3 pin standards CTIA and OMTP, which Xbox is CTIA standard, so you should check if your headset standard is the same Xbox standard.

    I can hear game volume through my TV, just not through my headset. I can hear party audio, just not game audio.

    the newer 3.5mm controller

    The chat headset is designed to only give you chat audio, and leave game audio coming through your television.

    Any other headset will give you both game and chat audio through the headset, whether you use the new controller or the older version with the headset adapter.
