No audio out of Xbox One 3.5mm port

No audio on the Xbox One controller with the 3.5mm port using Beats headphones with the wireless Xbox One adapter on Windows 10. It actually doesn't work for any games on PC, but does work with the same
setup for my Xbox One. The controller is up to date and so is the pre-installed driver.

Turtle Beach X12 with the Xbox one without the adapter?

Hi, I've used the Turtle Beach X12 headset for the xbox 360 and lately I've been thinking about using it for the xbox one. I've done my research and it turns out I needed the adapter, but then I realized I have the 2015 wireless controller with the 3.5mm
port, so then I thought, "I wouldn't need the adapter."

For those of you that don't know, the turtle beach X12 consists of a USB for power, and a green 3.5mm audio jack. There is also a 3.5mm pink audio jack for the mic but there is no need for that pink jack for the xbox.

So, I plugged the green 3.5mm audio jack into the port at the bottom of my controller, and plugged the USB into the xbox one. My audio didn't work. To verify that my audio was working and it was the headset that wasn't working, I plugged in earphones with
a similar 3.5mm audio jack (the earphones didn't have a USB for power), and the audio was coming out of the earphones fine.

My assumption of why it wasn't working is that the USB and the audio jack are plugged into different sources?

Does anyone know how I could hook up my headset to my xbox with buying the adapter or anything else? Is there a way around this with the 2015 wireless controller? Btw, I play on a monitor and it has no audio ports for my headset to plug in to.

So how are we meant to use speakers with the Xbox One?

Very few Speakers actually have optical, all mine are all analogue like RCA, 3.5mm or the coaxial spdif. My TVs only have optical out, no optical in ports and so there is no way to get the audio off the system...

I don't get why they'd make a system without at least having a 3.5mm jack port there.

HDMI audio is the worst, it has high latency and screw playing Rocksmith 3 (if it ever comes out) on an Xbox One because it'll have such high latency unless you're willing to invest loads into all new gear.

  4. No audio out of Xbox One 3.5mm port

I have the same problem not finding any sound when connected wirelessly, although audio is active when connected through the micro-USB cable. I got the latest drivers on Windows 10 Creator Update.

Does the Astro A50 have a Stream Out Port?

I have the Astro A40 with Mix Amp Pro and I use the Stream Out port connected to the Microphone port to the PC.

If you do you just need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable. You would also need to change the Stream Out Port setting in Astro Command center to party chat only.

Then I have 3 Audio Channels with 3 audio sliders

Mic on new controllers with 3.5mm built in Audio port

Interestingly, I can hear audio from the xbox through my earbuds, the controllers just don't seem to be sending the microphone audio to the xbox. I was under the impression that the 3.5mm port on the new controllers had both audio and mic capabilities, am
    I wrong?

I know that the microphone is sending sound to the controller and I know it's getting sent to the correct pins on the 3.5mm port...

I have a MSI G241 monitor, a Xbox one X, and a LG Z407 Speaker. I have the speaker plugged into my monitor and HDMI for my Xbox. But the speaker isn’t playing any sound. How can I fix this?

his speaker system is usb powered with 3.5mm for audio, this will plug into the 3.5mm port on the monitor and then the xbox into the monitor via hdmi, i have that exact monitor and the sound works fine, not sure why you are on about e arc for as that is out of the equation here.

    turtle beach with xbox one

On my tv I just put the red and white cables from the turtle beaches straight into the audio out red and white ports but the monitor has no audio out ports or a headphone jack so would I need a optical to 3.5mm or something like that?

And yes I just want it for game audio
