    No Audio on Netflix


    Hello all

    I recently changed my TV and the audio doesn't work on netflix through my xbox 360 any more.

    I run my xbox 360 through a HDMI cable into the back of my TV, everything is fine until I go into netflix and try to run a move and there is never any sound.

    I have tried swapping the cable and tried a different HDMI port, however I doubt the problem lies here as game and dash sounds work perfectly fine.

    If I boot into netflix, even if I exit, there is then no sound on the dash. If I reboot the xbox the sound returns but is again lost if I boot into netflix.

    I have tried all the three sound options in the settings and the two sound options on the TV and all combinations of the two TV settings and 3 Xbox settings.

    If I swap in the component cable, this problem doesn't exist but obviously the picture quality is reduced.

    If I re-seat (unplug and plug back in) the hdmi cable while in netflix, the sound comes on.

    My previous TV did not have this problem and it's strange that only netflix is affected and reseating the cable solves the problem - I just don't see reseating my cable every time as a solution.

    Just kidding! I finally got frustrated enough that I unplugged EVERYTHING from everything else and plugged it all back in and that did the trick. Not sure which cord needed to be reset, but when in doubt, I just do it all!

    No audio on Netflix

    I've been using Netflix on my Xbox One practically everyday for months now. As of this morning, I have absolutely NO audio on the app. I have audio on my Xbox Dashboard and audio on my games, but not at all on the Netflix app. I've read a dozen threads
    where people have had everything but the voice, but I have no sound at all. I've tried quitting and restarting the app, playing several different titles, turning off and on the Xbox, turning off and on the TV, playing with every single sound setting I can
    find, and nothing fixes it. My Xbox is connected directly to the (Sony Bravia) TV with an HDMI cord. Anyone else having this problem?

    you call netflix or go to netflix setings to check the audio setings of the app

    Is it the same movie that has no audio when your using Netflix? Or have you tried other titles? I have seen titles uploaded to Netflix and be up for months with no audio before they get around to fixing it.

    I had this issue to. But i eventually found out how to solve it. When you start Netflix you wait until it loads. Then you turn off your TV (not Xbox) then start your TV again. Your TV will now scan the HDMI for a digital audio signal and you should have
    audio working with Netflix. Now you need to do this every time you start Netflix sadly. I really hope they fixes this bug. I've only had this problem with LG tv's though.

    I never have problems with netflix on xbox and I use it a lot
