NO AUDIO & NOT ABLE TO SPEAK THRU HEADSET

I HAVE A XBOX A10 HEADSET. I CANNOT HEAR OR TALK TO MY FRIENDS.

ON THE SCREEN THERE IS A PICTURE OF A MIC WITH A LINE THRU IT.

I HAVE TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES TO FIX THIS USING VARIOUS SO-CALLED SOLUTIONS.

I DID NOT PAY $100 FOR A HEADSET TO NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT.

IT'S GETTING RIDICULOUS NOW.....

PLEASE FIX THIS!!

It's a headset for voice chat, but I think this guy is talking about gaming headsets, where both voice chat and game audio come thru.

Logitech g933 wireless headset

anyone know how to get the audio from the Xbox to play thru the Logitech G933 headset. Plugged in the USB dongle and paired it to the headset but doesn't work?

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the current issue the mute icon. I recommend to take a look at the following troubleshooting resources:Connecting
a compatible headset to Xbox One and
Xbox One controller and headset compatibility.

If
the issue persists, Try this:

Have you
updated your controller’s softwareto
support the Stereo Headset ?

Make sure your controller has fresh batteries. When the batteries get weak, some controller functions,
such as audio and rumble, are turned off to conserve the remaining power.

If you are using a Headset Adapter, Make sure it is firmly plugged into your controller and that your
Stereo Headset’s 3.5-mm cable is securely plugged into the Headset Adapter. You will know it’s plugged in properly if you press the mute button and the LED lights up.

Try
your Xbox One Stereo Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working. If not, the headset will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the
Xbox Online Service Center.

Try
your Stereo Headset and Stereo Headset Adapter on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
updating the first controlleragain.
If that fails, the controller will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the
Xbox Online Service Center.

If you have the volume up on the TV/Monitor you play on it can feedback thru the microphone on a lot of headsets. There also headsets that by default will feed your voice back to you so you know how loud you are speaking.

Some headsets can be customized but you do that by connecting them to a PC to do the settings which are saved into the headset.

Now, will using that Audio Adapter cut off the audio from the monitor speakers and route the

game audio thru the headset?

And just where does the Audio Adapter plug into the XBox 360 Slim Model?

Since you checked what is the headset audio option set to?

What headset do you have?

You have no sound at all on the headset or only the sounds of you moving thru the menu?

I have had instances (not recently) where I had to change my audio option after re-connecting my headset.

You may want to see what the audio is without the headset attached, then connect it and compare the settings do the change to pickup the headset connection.
