No audio input detected in xbox gamebar party

Have you checked your gamebar audio settings and made sure your mic is chosen as your input? For example, I chose my headset instead of the default on my laptop.

Thank you, but that is not what I asked. My problem is ONLY hearing the Party chat. When joining a party, all OTHER audio is suddenly lost. The second I Leave, it returns.

EDIT:

I've just discovered that the issue is only a problem when in a party with others. When in a party alone, I can hear everything fine but my microphone detects no input.

Thanks for the reply. I went to Settings >TV & One Guide>Devices>Audio Receiver Model ( input Denon AVR3808CI). Still no audio detected. Thoughts?

You mentioned that you have set the audio inputs and outputs for your pc but can I ask if this one done in the pc settings or if it was done through the GameBar audio settings?

Make sure your audio input and output are assigned to the audio device you want to use for party chat. In the Party widget, select the Party options … button and then choose Party audio. Under Audio output and Audio input, choose your audio device from the selection dropdown.
