  1. No audio in xbox one headphones

    Hello,

I am writing on my (devastated) son’s behalf. Since a couple of days there is no audio output through his xbox one remote controls. We have tried several headphones and on both our controls - the result is the same. Absolute silence. The problems doesn’t
lie with the headphones as they work on other devices, and it seems odd that audio on both remotes should stop working at the same time (all other aspects of the remotes still work fine, i.e. still possible to play, but without sound in headphones)

I am absolutely no expert on these kind of things, but I have browsed answers on the web, but nothing there that seems to help. We have also rebooted a couple of times (including pulling the power cord for +10 secs), but it hasn’t helped.

Also the remote controls are updated (that’s the message I get when going into ”settings” anyway); one strange thing to me is that there seems to be a ”volume” setting that I am not able to select (below the update remote button and above the vibrate button)
    - is this normal?

Thank you so much for any help you might give me!

    Mattias

    :)

Are Xbox Design Lab controllers compatible with Windows 10?

they are the same as the standard xbox one s controllers, so with pc you can use via bluetooth(audio through headphone jack not supported)

or wired(supports audio via headphone jack)

    Afterglow Universals and Xbox One

The Afterglow Wireless headphones DO WORK on the Xbox one. If you use the HDMI port to hook your Xbox One up to the TV, you must use the "Audio Out" jack on your television. The red and white audio jacks can unplug from the USB Afterglow transmitter by
just pulling in the middle. Hook that headphone jack into the "audio out" or "headphone" jack on your television. Sound should play through your Afterglow headphones then. Make sure no other wires are hooked to your Afterglow headphones.

To recap, you will hook your USB transmitter (the blue glowing thingie with the red and white audio jack) into ANY USB port. I have mine hooked to a laptop since it doesn't reach the USB port on the back of my Xbox One (you only need to get power to the
transmitter). Then, make sure your tranmitter is hooked to the TV. Because the Xbox One uses HDMI, you must put the red and white AV connections in the "Audio Out" jacks OR, just unplug the "red and white" AV connection extender, and hook the normal headphone
jack directly into the "auido out" or "headphone" jack on your TV.

    Elite 2 Controller Configuration

On the Accessories app when I select Audio the levels have been altered. As i said to get decent audio from my headphones i need to have the controller audio and in game controller audio set to 100%. This suggests either an issue with the headphones [where
there was none before with regular xbox one controllers] or something with how the elite 2 handles audio. Can it be anything else?

    i can’t Hear my game

Are you playing on a Xbox console?

If so, go to the audio settings in the console settings and set up the console audio to output game audio via headset.

In the headphone settings you can also set up spatial 3D audio, by turning the audio output for headphones to Windows Sonic, or if you have purchased the Atmos App (the free app only works 14 days with headphones), you can also set Dolby Atmos for headphones.

If you are on the PC, you need to make the headphone your device for audio output (not only voice communications).

Click on the speaker icon in the lower right, and choose the output channel for the headphone. Depending on your soundcard or USB headset, you need to select the proper audio output.
