  1. No Audio in DVR

I am getting absolutely no audio whatsoever out of any and every game clip I record. I have tried on multiple games, and none have anything. This started happening during the Ghost Recon Wildlands beta. I originally thought it could have been some sort
of DVR protection due it still being a beta game, but then I noticed it happening for every game after. This is now the third place I am trying to hopefully get assistance with my problem. I already talked to the Xbox Support Twitter account through many
DM's. They were helpful, and ran me through all of the steps
    on this site
. After going through all that, they recommended I contact the actual chat support, who only told me to post here, because I am a preview member.

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!

    :)

  2. XBOX DVR records clips with sound out of sync

    Hey there aDrunkBaconGod!

Sorry to hear about the DVR issue! Just to clarify, are you experiencing the DVR recording clips out of sync or with no audio? If it is with no audio, this is a different issue than what is described in this thread. If you are experiencing the DVR recording
without any audio, I recommend creating a new thread. This way you can receive support specifically tailored to you. Thanks in advance!

  4. No Audio in DVR

    Hey there, Salmon!

I'm sorry to see any issues with your Game DVR audio! Unfortunately, Obi-Wan isn't available, so you get General Organa. No Audio in DVR ;)

Checking in with the Twitter team (our sister team, they are awesome), I reviewed your conversation with our agents there. I saw all the troubleshooting you did with them back in April, but was curious about a couple things.

Based on the conversation, I don't see anything about
    removing and re-adding your profile
. It's also not mentioned if you did a
    factory reset
, keeping your games and apps. I'm wondering if these might help you out. If not, you may need to do a full factory reset, since it is an app on the console that is causing these issues.

Outside of that, it does appear you're in Alpha ring. I know I'm directing you to another forum, but you'll want to post on the Insider forums linked at the bottom of my post to get help from the Insider team. Before you post there, though, submit feedback
through your console. Record a clip, then watch the clip, then ensure you include video in the feedback submission.

Normally we lock Insider threads, since we can only do so much with people in the program on our side. However, since you've worked with Twitter, and I'm giving more troubleshooting, I'm going to keep this open until you confirm if it worked or not for me.
No Audio in DVR :) Keep me updated!

  5. Hello

When I was directed here, I thought this was the Insider Program forum. Your link brings me to what seems like the same exact board. There is a section for Insiders, but seemingly without any of the branching options for different subcategories, unless
I was missing something. I am going to try posting in the general board there, but I wanted to update you on a few things.

Last night I did a factory reset on my console, keeping games and apps, and that did not work. I tried to record a clip on 3 games (Mass Effect Andromeda, Gears 4, and Enter the Gungeon), and still there was no sound. And I apologize for not mentioning
this, but I have sent several instances of feedback through the "Report a Problem" feature on my console. Another thing to note, is that this a fairly new console. I replaced my launch period console with the Gears 4 Limited Edition version in February of
    this year.

Let's see how it goes over there. Thanks again!

  6. No worries! It doesn't look any different, in fact they've just opened it up publicly! It was just a gated section, and we do not offer support for it here.

Thanks for confirming what all you've tried, too. I'm going to lock this thread now since we can't offer any other support, but please reach out to me if you have any other concerns. No Audio in DVR :)

DVR isn't picking up audio input from my microphone

    Hey LEIGHTON LEGEND,

Windows 10 Xbox DVR will record the game audio, but it does not record input voices or external audio. There is a setting to enable audio with Game DVR, but that setting is for enabling game audio. This page outlines all information on how to

Record game clips with Game DVR on Windows 10

No Picture/Sound with DirecTV - Sync Issues?

Is there a resolution for audio issues as well? I have the same DVR box as Manfrenjensen and since 1/6/214 the audio between my DVR video and XB1 audio have been out of synch. It was as if Big Bang Theory was produced in China, the mouth-to-audio was quite
bothersome and I don't know what happened to cause this as it was perfectly fine before? I have unplugged the HDMI pass-through cable from the XB1 and DVR box, plugged them back in and it didn't help at all. Any suggestions?

A half a day with upload studio.

yeah the in game audio, if my TV is up loud does that mean the DVR is recording the audio equally as loud?

    Game Recording

Go into settings and check that audio is enabled for Game DVR.
