No audio in DVR recordings

Discus and support No audio in DVR recordings in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; OK, so since the last update when I try to record my gameplay with the Game DVR it records without audio for some reason....     OK, so since the last update when I try to record my gameplay with the Game DVR it records without audio for some reason.... Any ideas as to why???

    Sorry to hear about the DVR issue! Just to clarify, are you experiencing the DVR recording clips out of sync or with no audio? If it is with no audio, this is a different issue than what is described in this thread. If you are experiencing the DVR recording
    without any audio, I recommend creating a new thread. This way you can receive support specifically tailored to you. Thanks in advance!

    No audio in DVR recordings

    Hi Azerik, Sorry to hear your experiencing this issue. To confirm are you streaming the game via Xbox App while recording? Does this issue occur with other games? What length of recording are you experiencing no audio? Do you experience no audio with shorter
    recordings?

    If your using the Xbox App (Beta) can help us out and report this issue using the "Report a problem" this will generate a report and provide helpful data to the developers. In the mean time I will report this to developers so they are aware this issue is
    occurring. If we have further questions we will contact you.

    DVR not recording sound

    IF the game plays audio fine, and you then start the DVR recording then you should record audio fine. This is not the case since they did that 1404 update.

    I found that if you did a reset the DVR was recording audio again.

    Power down the machine. Unplug the power from the back till the power block light

    changes to orange. Plus back in, and reboot. It worked for me.

    yeah the in game audio, if my TV is up loud does that mean the DVR is recording the audio equally as loud?

    You can't record voice through DVR, however if your using Mixer for audio why not record video with Mixer as well.
