  1. No audio from TV when on xbox one s

I have been dealing with an issue that has made it so no audio from my xbox one s is coming through my TV.

I have tried switching HDMI cables and switching ports but still nothing.

It is not my TV that is broken, as I have tried other consoles and it is working.

This has been since the last update and I have reported the issue

Audio on both Headset and TV Speakers

FYI, on my original Xbox one
when I plug in a headset into the controller the audio is redirected from the TV/HDMI to Headset and then when unplugged the audio is returned to the TV/HDMI.

    What AV-Receiver do you use?

Also make sure that it your TV settings the hdmi port is set to "enhanced" , most are not set from the factory . My Xbox One S wouldn't recognize my TV until I did that , then it shook hands . Now if I could get rid of the audio lag when using ARC...

Error code 0x80bd0009 when set up DOLBY ATMOS

    Hey Wish

Thanks for advice, it WORKED but after couple of testing and trying of the settings of xbox one S and TV, magical it is working. I would tell you, some magic happened.

So what I did? Let me share the steps

When XBOX one is plugged into TV.

    1. set audio to STEREO

    2. Set display settings from AUTO detection to HDMI and set up 1080P

    - select,24hz,50hz, 4k settings back again (except selecting 4KUHD)

    3. Set Audio settings, beatstream OUT and Select Dolby atmos.

    3. Select in Blue ray sections, encoding audio, confirm OK.

    4. Restart the XBOX ONE S.

Once XBOX is still TURN ON,

    5. I plug XBOX ONE HDMI cable from TV into the soundbar SONY and waiting when XBOX one appears on TV,magically I was able to hear Dolby atmos sound.

    6. Go to Samsung settings and AUDIO, expert settings and I select Amynet ON, click on ARC HDMI ports, to choose UHMD color.

    7. Restart the console XBOX one S and turn of TV.

    8. In XBOX one display settings, select HDR10, after couple of blinks on TV.

    9. Restart the console XBOX one S.

    10. Download DOLBY atmos app and test your DOLBY atmos within videos and ENJOY the sound :)

ONE more thing that I was not able to get is 4kUHD in display settings in XBOX one.

Dolby atmos is able to set up only in 1080P!!!

But I think I need to buy 4k HDR HDMI cable, so which I do not have it right now.

Thanks, let me know any questions

    Headset audio fix

Hi, I have a headphone with a green cable (audio) and pink cable (microphone), and I have a 3-pin converter for both of them so they work together, but when I plug them in my Xbox One S controller, the audio is still coming from the TV and not in
the headphones, also when I go to the controller accessories, it says the headset is connected but says "Not assigned" under the controller tab please help me quickly!
Please give a fix quickly as I want to record/stream in my Xbox.
Hey, have you checked the audio settings to ensure you have the audio on headset and not tv?

    Electrical popping sound through speakers

    Hello GinjaNinja,

I just wanted to check, with everything connected the same from the Xbox, when you play 1080HD the audio is fine, but when you play 4K UHD you get this "popping sound"? First thing we need to do is to figure out if this is a setup problem, software (UHD
Blu-ray disk, etc.) problem and or a hardware problem. Starting with possible hardware issues we need to "Checking your TV's 4K and
HDR capabilities on Xbox One S
" and follow up with "Troubleshooting 4K and HDR on Xbox One S". Note, that high bandwidth HDMI 2.0 cables
are recommended to support HDR10 on UHD 4K TVs. It has been reported that their were some problems with earlier released UHD Blu-ray disk. So, if you can try playing back different sources of 4K UHD (like Netflix) from the Xbox to see if you are still get
the "popping sound". Also, it's worth double checking the 4K UHD TV's setting and "How to configure audio settings on your Xbox One console" to make sure
both are talking to each other correctly. Hope this helps.
