    No apps are opening after launching xbox one


    Hi,

    When I open my xbox and select an application or game nothing opens. Even if I use Kinect to open something nothing happens.

    I have to do a cold boot (hold power button for 10 seconds) each time after launching to get anything to work.

    Is this a normal issue? Does anyone know of a resolution.

    Apps not working since 8/4 update

    Since the latest Xbox update (insider program) on 8/4, my apps will either not run or they close shortly after starting up.

    -YouTube (closes after launching video)

    -Netflix (closes after launching video)

    -Blu-Ray player (wether on or offline, immediate error message, 'Please try another disc. We can't play this one [0x91d70001])

    -Movie & TV (video but no sound)

    -Fortnite (closes when online game innitiates)

    I have tried the hard reset and the uninstall/reinstall with the Blu-Ray player with no success.

    Icon for Microsoft Solitaire Collection won't open!

    Try this (Reset App Data)

    This will delete your progress but it will sync back after re-launching if you are playing the game while signed in on Xbox Live. before.

    Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Click Microsoft Solitaire Collection > Advance options > Reset

    It shouldn't be doing that. Try going into the settings app and look under system to see if there's a dashboard update.

    If there is, it may fix some of the software issues.

    Otherwise, you might need to contact support and get a repair done.

    I havent seen anything about Xfinity being available at launch or anytime after. This link details the launch apps on xbox one

    bgr.com/.../xbox-one-launch-entertainment-apps     Also HBOGO is not on the list either and should be coming soon. I would say do whats best for your entertainment needs.

    The app can be downloaded when opening the welcome message ...

    The problem was I opened this message on my Xbox 360 and since there is now Launch App button I just forgot it
